Since our beginning in 1895, Brenneke has been the technical leader in the development of hunting bullets and slugs. We set the wheels in motion for developing modern, powerful hunting projectiles over 112 years ago, and continue to do so today.

We are the only renowned cartridge, slug and bullet manufacturer still German-owned and headquartered in Germany. We are still owned by the family of the company’s founder.

From projectile to ammunition manufacturer

In the past, Brenneke was purely a manufacturer of hunting projectiles-slugs and bullets. We sold our products throughout the world to renowned ammunition manufacturers, who loaded them into their own products.
So that we could better cater to the demands of the hunter, we decided some years ago to manufacture fully loaded ammunition ourselves. Therefore, in shops around the world, you will find products of various manufacturers containing our bullets and slugs, as well as our own Original Brenneke loaded cartridges.
